Brandy Navarro breaks long jump record

A record that stood for over 25 years was broken Saturday at the Covina Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Brandy Navarro’s first jump 16’11 1/2″ broke the record. Then followed it by breaking her own record by jumping 17’3″. Her final jump was 16’11 3/4″.
